Skanska has recently landed three contracts worth a total of $436m: data centre projects in Arizona and Georgia and a university building in Texas.

In Georgia, Skanska will build a 22,700 sq m data centre, including associated site work, and underground utilities. The $238m project includes fit-out of an administration space and five data halls.

Work is due to begin in June 2028 and is scheduled to be completed in May 2026.

In Arizona, Skanska has won similar contract worth $150m. The single-storey server farm will have a gross floor area of 22,700 sq m and is due to be finished in the second quarter of next year.

In Houston, Skanska will work with B Bell Builders on a 10,400 sq m structure for Rice University (pictured).

The $48m project for the Jones Graduate School of Business will contain two 120-seat classrooms, two 65-seat classrooms, graduate student areas, a large event space, a courtyard enclosure and cafe.

It will be located adjacent to McNair Hall and is due to be completed in February 2026.
