Stuttgart construction company Züblin is to expand its presence in northern Germany with the addition of offices in the city of Kiel and the town of Buchholz in der Nordheide.
The office in Kiel will replace the previous premises, which had become too small owing to Züblin’s growing orders. Employees here will join Züblin’s port unit and local turnkey staff in the new space.
Projects being undertaken by the office include the shipbuilding hall for Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems in Kiel and the Schleiterrassen housing project in the Schleswig-Holstein town of Kappeln.
The Süderelbe office in Buchholz in der Nordheide will form part of Züblin’s Lower Saxony and Bremen business units.
In January 2022, a Züblin joint venture won a €859m contract to build the biggest US hospital on foreign soil.
