Tutor Perini lands $222m airport role in the South Pacific

Black Construction Corporation, the Guam-based subsidiary of American contractor Tutor Perini, has been chosen to carry out $222m of construction work at Tinian International Airport in the Northern Mariana Islands.

The scope of work includes a cargo pad with taxiway extension, fuel tanks, roads and a maintenance workshop.

Work is expected to begin immediately, with substantial completion expected by October 2026.
